The film "I Tonya"

Yesterday I watched the film called "I Tonya". I saw this movie in its original version with subtitles in Spanish. The movie is based in this story the american figure skater Tonya Harding. She was the first person to make a triplet axel in competition. In 1994, her main rival for the Winter Olympics Games Nancy Kerrigan was hit on her knee with an iron bar by a thug. Suspicion fell on Tonya, which marked the beginning of the end of his career.

I recommend this film especially for the interpretations of the protagonist and her mother.

Just Good Friends

These days I've just finished reading the book called "Just good friends" published by Cambridge University Press. 

On the one hand, I like to print on paper so I can write down the words I don't understand. On the other hand I prefer to read this type of books because you can listen to the audios of all the chapters.

The Kominsky Method | Official Trailer | Netflix

I have just watched the series called "The Kominsky Method". The system that I use is: first to see the chapter in original version with English subtitles. Sometimes there are things that I don't understand. On second viewing, I do it in original version with subtitles in Spanish.
The main theme is how we've grown older. The series are eight chapters of about 23-27 minutes. Each chapter has much irony and sense of humor. I enjoyed and laughed much with the dialogues. I recommend it.

exhibition of Stanley Kubrick

On Saturday I went to an exhibition of Stanley Kubrick in CCCB

The exhibition was very interesting because there were real objects (scripts, dress, models, etc.) used in the films of this director. 

Literary corner about "The door on the floor"

I watched the film a in DVD at my home. The film is a drama based in the book  "Una mujer dificil" of John Irving.

This my third blog, but this is the first in English.
