Doctor Who Recommendations

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television series produced by the BBC. It was first issued in 1963 and has won several awards. The show follows the adventures of an alien time traveler known as the "Doctor", traveling in his space and temporal spacecraft, the TARDIS, which on the outside looks like a police cab. With his colleagues, he explores time and space, solving problems and solving injustices.

Breeders Season 1 Trailer | Rotten Tomatoes TV

This series is about the daily life of a family with children. It demystifies some taboos about family "supposed happiness" but always from good humor and good scripts. I totally recommend it.

God safe the Queen !!

The coronavirus crisis has led to the fourth speech in the history of Queen Elisabeth. By the way, there is an abysmal difference between the speeches in Spain and the UK (obviously in favor of the UK). The video of the speech can be seen on Twitter.

New version of One Day More

I'm following on twitter the program called "BBC Breakfast". That twitter account publishes curious news. This time the Marsh family made a different version explaining their isolation with the song 'One Day More' from the musical "Les Miserables".

1917 by Sam Mendes

Last night we watched at home the war movie "1917" by director Sam Mendes. I'm not a big fan of war movies but this movie was nominated for the Oscars it was worth watching. I liked the movie because it gives you a feeling of immersion with the sequence of shots it uses. Obviously we saw it in original version with subtitles in Spanish.

Sex Education: Season 2 Netflix

I watched a series of Netflix called "Sex Education". It is a series for teenagers but I wanted to see it because it was set in the UK. Seeing it would help me improve my pronunciation in English. The first season I liked, because the series was cool and out of the ordinary. In fact Netflix has released the second season. I watched the first chapter of the second season and I can say that I was not disappointed. The series continues with its willingness to do pedagogy, talk about sex in an open, informed and without prejudice way.

Fortunately, the series “Sex Education” is better than horrible “13 Reason Why. I recommend this series especially for its plots and for its sense of humor.
